Si Aida, Lorna at Fe

I've been following various blogs, newspapers and other sources throughout the week. Im just absolutely dumbfounded at how much of a mess the country is right now..This is not about bad mouthing of my country, but I just want to share some thoughts.. It reminded me of one US pres. who told that "To love ur country, ur country should be loveable"...watching those rallies on morning tv news and listening to susan roces hair rising emotional speech made me think that the phils. now is a big soap opera that everyday we need a new twist to make it 'top the chart"..gloria's "revelation' is the new twist, then the hubby's departure, wow, more exciting and revealing than reading dan brown's da vinci code..what's next? "phils. cant pay its debts, talks going on for mindanao to be sold to malaysia"..A friend provided us with a nice response, he goes saying:gloria maybe pathetic...but nothing can be more sorrier than susan roces, obviously still in pains over the loss of her husband(rightly so), ranting like a woman scorned,screaming, my husband had been cheated!!!, "magnakaw ka ng pera, huwag lang ng pangarap"...( i wonder what the late FPJ would say to this after denying several times that he harbored no ambition towards the presidency and that his decision to run was in response to the (pickled) will of the Filipino people, as determined by Pulse Asia and SWS of course, and wantonly assumed by the loudmouths militant groups ( its always a wonder to see a dozen of leftist rallyist so arrogantly point to us the will of the Filipino people,huh?AS IF!) and the media concious friars of the catholic church...I don't know the real score about the tape, but what is evident is that the legitimacy of the arroyo presidency is indeed in question( so was marcos, ramos,remember), the conversation was indeed improper, but still no proof yet that Gloria Macapagal stole the election, so hold that rage Susan, you may suffer a heart attack for nothing! I agree with Solita Monsod, an independent body should be formed to investigate the matter...let our established laws run its course... the system maybe flawed but that is the best we've got...the scenario of seeing the Estrada fanatics return to power and established the "moral highgrounds" they supposed to have lost(as if they had it in the first place) is enough to make us all cringed ad nauseum...but you know what, this "fed up of my country's woes attitude" is already an old act, lets view all of these controversy's, scandal, soap operatic or as boring as reading a case in obligations and contracts as the case maybe, as our turbulent but necessary journey into a better society. Hell, Englands beheaded its kings and queens once, he he, Germany was ruled once by a racist despot who almost suceeded in making this world pure...let us not lose hope that a better electoral process would be formed and that Filipinos will vow ala Susan Roces that never again will the legitimacy of our leaders be questioned in the biggest freakshow available in town...he he.. but as of now lets be contented with what we got, at least sama-sama tayong naga suffer...and if the more corrupt opposition triumphs, then I agree with Gov. Singson, let all the provinces of this country declare itself independent of the Philippines, magkanya-kanya na lang tayo!! ha ha,
