Mindanao Bombed Again

This is just a reaction on the recent bombings in mindanao. Maybe the media exaggerated the whole thing but a lost of lives of that magnitude is really worrying. But what worried me most is that as what happened last time this tragedy will just be again another… tragedy. People not counted as human beings but as a part of a STATISTICS for media and politics. You don’t want to be counted? Don’t use the airport (as my friend suggested).But how safe is Philippine Princess against this assholes. Gloria anyway looks good in her Gucci eyewear when she visited Davao.The next day she was on TV again giving speech in congress smiling and more conscious about her new hairdo than ever before. Then that was it. Then came the drama about the story of some victims as dramatized by the media. Floods of tears flowing in the screen. Why? That’s what our people want(that’s what my mother wants). The soap operas that slowly decimating the IQ’s of millions of filipinos,This time got it big time..a true to life story. Next time you wil see a segment in Malaala Mo kaya entitled "May Bukas pa Ba?"…Mindanao,the davao airport tragedy..unang simula.hahahahaha. Pop culture? Perception might be a problem but from theory comes reality. There are assholes in our country. People with big EGOS. Ego bigger than the world trade center that a blast in Davao im telling you my friend is chicken in comparison to the great plan they have on their mind. They don’t want a separate state, they want a separate planet! A planet wherein they can grow their beard down to their toes. A world where Levi’s will be unknown and Coca Cola will be extinct like the dinosaurs and no more advertisements like " I want my MTV"(or if their will be a TV in that world at all!). Why is gloria afraid to lunch an all out war against these buggers? Peace talk is a phrase this people can’t understand. Diplomacy? no way,they don’t have diplomats. They don’t have a country. who?Sabaya?hahahaha.Maybe everybody loves a good long standing war. So don’t watch ABS CBN(as atan suggested)(In the service… of the soap-opera loving Filipinos). What other option? Leave mindanao?(as my lola suggested). Sin-o na lang ma lantaw sa mga bulak ko di. Fight with them in the mountains? Mad people would do that. Leave it to gloria?(pretty scary). A federal form of government? So what? Well, as a christrian(elmer don’t laugh)ill just pray(yes I still pray even if sometimes I wonder if christ knows that im in india) that there will be a solution from all this.. and hopefully we will not be a part of the growing "STATISTICS". That the problem in mindanao with all its art, drama and complexities will be solved. That we can go home without worrying about the un attended plastic bag on our side.That we can be a part of the solution. Hey, we are from THAT place. We know mindanao.
